We chill on the side of the Rio Cochamo while I wait for my stomach to settle down. The previous night, I puked in our hostel’s toilet in Cochamo. I spent the next week recovering from this mysterious illness, likely contracted from aging salame.

Soon after we woke up, we caught a glimpse of the source of last night’s poor sleep.

Having escaped Rio Bueno purgatory, we spent the night on the beach of Lago Rupanco. At sunset, we were treated to a beautiful display of pink clouds.
While Audrey battled an Intense stomach bug, spent three nights in a small city in the Chilean country side. After our second nought in Rio Bueno, we went to the city park to see if Audrey could rally enough to leave. After hours in the park, we booked another Airbnb in a creepy old woman’s guest house.
